An adorable little shop in Downtown Pasadena! Upon walking in, we were taken back with how colorful and decorated the shop was. There were a ton of post-it notes from visitors on the wall, next to their bright, neon sign. The drinks we ordered were the One Zo Milk Tea & One Zo Milk Green Tea. The flavors were very unique and complimented the snacks we got right before. Overall, a great place to go.

I was in the area for an appointment and decided to scout the area for a boba tea place! I stumbled upon One Zo on Fair Oaks and was attracted to the pink walls and adorable signage inside. It definitely popped! One of the team members at One Zo showed me the menu and how I can use the kiosk to order and see pictures of the boba. She was very nice! I'm usually a green tea kind of gal but I couldn't pass on how good the Milk Tea looked. I ordered the Signature Milk Tea with Boba because I gotta try what they are known for, right? It was just as expected - delicious! I liked how I could taste the black tea flavor in this milk tea, too. The cook of the boba was great as well! Thanks to the team at One Zo boba for treating my sweet tooth recently. I'll definitely be back!

TLDR: Easily one of the BEST boba locations in Old Town Pasadena / SGV. Highly recommend their Roasted Rice Milk Tea with HANDMADE boba. Excellent customer service, too! ** Note: Local students within 15 miles get a 20% discount. ** - - - - - - One Zo is a small boba shop in Old Town Pasadena that may be missed compared to more well-known names such as Sunright, 85 oC, and Yifang. There are also smaller names around, but I think what makes One Zo stand out is their signature drinks. When I walked in, the store seemed empty, but a staff member quickly walked out to greet me and walk me through their ordering process despite there being a self-check out tablet. I ordered their Roasted Rice Milk Tea with handmade Brown Sugar Boba (half sweet adjustment). I'm not sure what their secret is, but everything was perfect. The drink was sweet but savory, and the tastes reminded me of Korean barley tea and Chinese sesame rice balls. The boba was a delight, since it was room temperature and not warm like most boba shops that I've frequented keep them. The only annoyance was maybe the cups, since they were skinny and didn't fit well in the car's cup holder. Also, the boba being handmade made them taste better; they were not too hard or too chewy, and the drink was a uniquely enjoyable experience. Although small, there is a small seating area on the street side, where customers can watch time pass as cars whiz by and visitors walk the streets. There is also a wall of post-its to highlight others' love for boba, areas that customers are visiting from, and anything else that they may like to share with the world. Their drink pictures are also appetizing; I can't help but want to return even though I don't like visiting the same restaurant more than once!

We must be crazy to be craving Boba during a winter night. But a great time to go for a walk is a good excuse to pop in and tray one zo. The boba and slushy were sweet and cold with yummy jelly and bursting Boba. I don't know if they make them not too sweet, but I was not in the mood for it anyway. So I really enjoyed the walk and Boba. Service was really great and they knocked it out really fast. I enjoyed looking at all the notes on the wall while I waited, it made the time go by faster. I really like the idea of them having the Post-it notes on the wall with all the talented people showing off their work, and their Instagram's. If you don't come for the Bubba at least come for the photo moment of the wall it was really nice and special.
